Delicious! Get the biscuits and gravy!

The service was great. The deck seating is best because of the Cedar River view. The food is homegrown kind of fair, not salty or overly spiced. Prices are about the norm. We had breakfast, veggie omelet and feta scrambled. We also had 1 plate size pancake. All was hot on arrival.

We miss Seven Diner and can’t wait to have breakfast by the river again sometime soon.

First time back since new owners. We went for lunch Saturday and were pretty unimpressed. Service was disinterested, no espresso on the weekends, uneven food quality. The burger was excellent but the halibut and chips was mediocre for the price. Very good tarter sauce. We don't plan to return.

Had a great breakfast here! Quick service, kind staff, decently priced and you can now use card. Before you could only use cash when it was testy chef. Menu looks very similar to when it was testy chef, just a few more added items that look good too. Definitely will be back again!

Their food is solid and with a Hawaiian twist. But really you should be going there for the coffee. Their drive-thru is kind of slow but it's worth the wait.

Good food an nice people. Great breakfast and lunch. Try the Denver omelet. Neat deck overlooking the Cedar river. I am not a coffee drinker but those I know say it is great.

Amazing breakfast, we had the biscuits and gravy, it was great! Sat on the patio overlooking the river. Our server was friendly, prompt, and observant. We'll definitely be back!

I think I just found my new fave Biscuit & Gravy spot! Better yet, its only 5 mins from our house. 😍Funny thing, I took my wife here on a date. Not an ideal spot for a date, but their food is delicioussssssss! Like they say, The way to a woman's heart is through her stomach. 🙌🏻Customer service is TOP NOTCH! Small and cozy. Will be back on our next date.

Seven Diner is an amazing greasy spoon sort of diner. The food is great quality and the staff is very friendly. Sitting on the patio, when you can get a spot, is beautiful as it overlooks the river. Highly recommend.

Formerly "Tasty chef", they still deliver a great flavor on food and friendly environment ,family owned, i feel like in mom's kitchen .

I'll start with my omelette & hash browns were actually good, but that's it. My wife's biscuits and gravy were cold. Our waitress never checked on us, we had to ask 2 other waitresses to get a refill on our drinks, which resulted in only getting water. Had to ask a 3rd time for a coffee refill, told us they were out & needed to brew more, but then immediately returned with it. (seriously, at a diner?) My wife asked for a hot tea water refill, we never got it. Yet when our waitress brought the bill she thought it would be good time to finally offer my wife some hot water. Thanks, but no thanks. I won't be back.

Great service...great food. The back patio is a must for beautiful views of the Cedar River.

Staff was friendly. Food was good but not exceptional. Slightly pricey. I did however enjoy the experience.

The rain was pouring and the sky was a dark, angry gray; but, inside the diner, it was warm, cozy, and inviting. Exposed wood and a wood stove helped to create a cabin feel without the trail dust and musty moth balls. It was perfectly humble. I've never felt so quickly at home. We ordered the hotcakes, that were the size of the plate, topped with thick-cut bacon and eggs to order (we got ours diner scrambled). The kitchen is a central part of the diner. It's open and in the view of every customer. They're not afraid to show you what they're doing, which instills a feeling of trust that what they are doing is something that they love and want the customer to share in. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the world through a little hot cocoa and maple syrup.

Same great menu as the testy chef, with some awesome daily specials to mix it up! Got the testy breakfast and the Portuguese sausage special! They have mimosas and Maui brewing beer. The staff are amazing people!

Food was very good (pancakes are fantastic) and service was quite hospitable. Very "cozy" inside and limited parking. If you have never been to a non-franchised breakfast place like this give it a try and sit at the counter for a good time. Minus one star for disappointing scrambled eggs.

Best breakfast in Maple Valley for sure. Amazing value, great friendly service, delicious food and coffee, and beautiful view from the patio. Ambience reminds me of all the great east coast diners I miss so much.

The breakfast are awesome! I loved it! The portion is very 'American-sized' portion. Love it! They only open for breakfast and lunch (unsure of the business hours). Would come back again!

Stopped in to try since I haven't been in since it was "Tasty Chef". Had a burger n fries, it was tasty, but not worth the 14.00 or so price tag!! FYI, the Classic's tavern down the road on Maple Valley Highway has delicious burgers that are on special on Mondays. Burger n fries- 7.99!!!!

Bacon was too hard .. but nice place !

It did us well in a pinch. Very quaint diner. The bacon could use.... A little less.... Cooking...

Waited 30 minutes for my biscuits and gravy then i watched them warm it up in the microwave. It was disgusting, tasted like kroeger canned biscuits and the gravy has the consistancy of water, it wasnt even warmed all the way through. Wouldnt suggest this place to anyone.

Always great food and if you sit at the counter you can watch a well oiled machine. The chef is amazing and the unison is perfect.Get there early, there is always at least a short to moderate wait.They have great outside covered seating looking over the river.

It was a quiet, quaint, nice little place. The server seemed stressed and annoyed. The prices were reasonable and the menu was okay. The food good and the atmosphere was interesting.
